Es geht darum, das der Sänger von The Fray, Isaac Slade, früher in einem Camp für schwer erziehbare Teenager gearbeitet hatte.
Dort war ein Junge, der seinen besten Freund auf tödliche Weiße verlor, aufgrund dessen verfiel er in Depressionen und Drogen und es kam keiner an Ihn heran.
Slade singt also davon, das er nicht weiß, wie er an den Jungen heran kommt und davon, das der Junge seinen besten Freund nicht retten konnte, weil er nicht wusste, wie.
Wieso habe ich diesen Song gewählt?
Nun ja, ich bekomme immer wieder Gänsehaut bei diesem Lied, wie wohl viele.
Zu dem habe ich letzten wieder Scrubs gesehen, in dem Das Lied in einer Schlusssrequenz vorkam.
Es hat mich immer interessiert, welche Geschichte hinter diesem Lied steckt und habe mich daraufhin schlau gemacht.
Wissenswertes:
Das Lied war für einen Grammy Nominiert, als Beste Rock Performance eines Duos oder einer Gruppe, bekam diesen aber leider nicht.
