Er beschreibt wie er sich dabei gefühlt hat und welche Ängste er dabei empfand.
"First Date" was inspired by DeLonge and wife Jennifer Jenkins' first date at SeaWorld San Diego. "I was about 21 at the time and it was an excuse for me to take her somewhere because I wanted to hang out with her," said DeLonge. The track was written as a summary of neurotic teen angst and awkwardness"

Wieso habe ich diesen Song gewählt?
Nun ja, da gibt es mehrere Gründe für.
Zum einen ist Blink 182 meine Lieblingsband!
Zum anderen war dies das erste Lied, das ich damals so richtig von Ihnen gehört habe und woraufhin ich dann auch zum Fan wurde.
Und weil ich am vergangenen Donnerstag (29.06.2017) auf dem Konzert in Berlin war und sie das Lied gespielt haben und ich jedes Wort mit singen konnte.
